This drawing is considered as a portrait of Salai, the lifelong lover of Leo. His face is angelic, to a point, his tit is adolescent and his penis worth of attention. For me he is the best candidate for the St. John of the Cenacolo. As the "event" made his boss a full male, his services strictly speaking were less important and he had a good reason to be sad and lean away. The comparison is convincing, even the angle of the face is the same as in the painting. To show the St. John I take here the copy of Giampietrino as it is sharper, and I do not see much difference from the original of Leo for this detail.
