three members of the Cenacolo appear as the best eye witnesses
of the "event", they were very near by the way.
Thomas shows a rigid index pointing vertically and goggled
eyes expressing marvel and abundance. Tuscan youngsters indicate
the penis making "the pistol" with stretched index
and the thumb making an L. Here the thumb is in perspective,
somehow foreshortened, but could well be in an L position.
He goggles his eyes to indicate big size and marvel. Jacob
stares at the groin of Leo-Jesus in outmost astonishment,
opening his arms, oh my oh Jesus, what a monster. Philip,
the third on the right, tears opens his dress, apparently
not in rage against the traitor, as it has been supposed by
the "one of you will betray me" interpreters, but
perhaps in a sudden rush of desire. He is soft and feminine.
